Passionate Pointe Shoe Experts Committed to Your Perfect Fit

Hi, I am Nicole,

I am a master pointe shoe fitter and I get great satisfaction in finding dancers the most appropriate shoes to enable them to thrive en pointe. Beautiful and functional!

Each year the number of referrals grows and the demand for fittings has grown exponentially. In order to keep up with this demand I created The Pointe Shoe Oracle.

 I have invited the most talented and intuitive fitters that I know to join TPO, where we work together as a collaborative team to find the best shoes for you.

We do not sell shoes, our recommendations are not limited to inventory on hand. Instead, we will only make recommendations based on your anatomy and ballet goals.

You are assured a brand agnostic experience, simply the best shoe for you.

Meet Your Professional Fitters

Our team of fitters are former pointe students, performers, current teachers of pointe in the classroom and coaches for the stage. We all have a passion to help students, performers and balletomanes find the right shoe to help them accomplish their dreams.

Nicole

Ballet Instructor and Fitter

Nicole is a master fitter and has been fitting pointe shoes and presenting pointe shoe informational lectures throughout the country for over a decade. She is also an accomplished teacher, a Fellow with Cecchetti Council of America, and has studied with legendary teachers including David Howard and Pamela Moore. She has also completed the ABT Teacher Training in Pre-Primary through Level 5. She currently coaches teachers for Cecchetti Council of America accreditations. 

Donna

Ballet Instructor and Fitter

Donna has been a Classical Ballet teacher for the past 20 years, with a focus on the grounding principles of a good ballet foundation through the work of the Cecchetti Council of America Classical Ballet syllabus. She has garnered a fabulous reputation for her pre pointe preparatory work and her work with the young pointe student.  For the past 8 years Donna has been working as an assistant to Nicole and has seen a lot of feet!

Ally

Ballet Instructor and Fitter

Ally received her professional ballet training from Xavier and Maggie Ferla at  San Jose Youth Ballet and also studied at the Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet. She spent a year working as a teaching assistant with the 92nd Street Y Harkness Dance Center in Manhattan. For the past ten years Ally has taught classical ballet throughout California. Currently Ally provides training and coaching focused on ballet exams, competitions and auditions for professional training programs. Her students have been accepted into ABT JKO School and San Francisco Ballet School. Ally has been fitting with TPO for the past year.
